Leading the partnership with Sway's Universe for the Overtime Freestyle Series at DistroKid, I played a role in securing a major partnership with Sway’s Universe for the highly influential Overtime Freestyle Series. Key Responsibilities:
Negotiating the Partnership Contract: I was directly involved in the discussions and negotiations that led to DistroKid’s official sponsorship of the Overtime Freestyle Series. This included working closely with Sway and his team to establish the terms of the partnership, ensuring that both parties were aligned on goals, deliverables, and expectations. The contract focused on securing DistroKid’s visibility as the primary sponsor of the series, with a focus on promoting the Overtime brand, the artists involved, and DistroKid’s unique services to the broader hip-hop audience.

Artist and Brand Alignment: A key part of the contract was ensuring that DistroKid’s mission and values were aligned with Sway’s Universe and the artists participating in the series. I worked closely with the Sway’s Universe team to ensure that the promotional materials and the content we produced reflected the authenticity of the Overtime Freestyle Series while also highlighting DistroKid’s support of emerging talent.
